Yesterday strolling down Broad Street in Richmond, Virginia the storefront of this barber shop caught my eye.  Something about the hues of the laminated wall, the pinpoints of fluorescent light and the pattern of reds and whites in the clothing that made me capture the image as art and daily life, more than for good design.   Sometimes the question is asked ‘what do you see’?  It’s as if when I look around, I frame the images into 3D forms depending on how the color jumps out at me, or the forms.  It happens when I’m outside, or in a building interior and I try to appreciate the images and put them into that designer memory bank.   The phones that do everything except cook have helped capture some of these inspirations more often lately and now I can share them with you.
